does not work on macs

I have radar scope on my iphone & mac. The iphone version works great yet the mac versions radar is always at least one hour old. It states that it is one hour old in red on the top left plus I can tell by looking at the iphone version. No matter which radar or setting it is alway at least one hour old. Service told me to do several things with none working so I am stuck paying for a useless product. Why it can work with one Apple product & not another I have no clue yet looking online this seems to be a problem
