Lightning Data is now working for OS X version 2.2.
I LOVE RadarScope and its functionality on both the iOS and OS X platforms. I was a bit frustrated when, like many people, I tried to buy the lightning data upgrade when 2.2 came out and ran into problems. But those problems didn’t last long. The app is working perfectly for me now.
If you run into problems after purchasing the lightning data upgrade try this:
1. Delete it (from both Launchpad AND your dock.)
2. Reboot your Mac.
3. Redownload it from the App Store.
4. Try purchasing the upgrade again. It will say you’ve already purchased it and it’ll restore it for free. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged twice.
5. If it doesn’t seem to work at first, close RadarScope out (Command+Q) then re-launch it.
That’s what worked for me. I don’t know if it was just a coincidental timiing thing, but that’s how I got it working. Knowing the pros at Weather Decision Technologies, I’m sure they’ll get everything straighted out soon if it’s not already working perfectly as of the writing of this review.
